Have you been wondering what happened to me???
I had a spring break visitor and then I went out of town for a few days and then I took a media break.
I will tell you more about all that later, but today is Make Me Laugh Monday at Jenny on the Spot.
This YouTube video (Thanks Heather) made me smile until I was laughing and full of joy. It comes from Belgium and I wish I had been there to jump in!

I have been saving this for a while….waiting for the perfect Monday to post it. Well….I don’t know if this is the perfect Monday….I’m still sick, the sky is gray AGAIN, I didn’t get any chores done this weekend…..but it IS still Monday and Jenny’s got more goods to make you laugh today.

Not that Mammograms are particularly funny in and of themselves….BUT….
My mom and I were discussing mine while she visited from Cali this past weekend. We were gathered around the kitchen island and the girls and the SO were hangin’ with us. This is a snippet of the conversation:
Littlest: Mama, why do they call it a Mammogram?
S.O.: (completely serious) Because women are called Ma’am.
WHAT? Oh yes he did!

I never get tired of these two. Jemaine and Bret are two comedic folk singers from New Zealand (I think that’s how they describe themselves). They are hysterical….plus this song has my favorite name it in!

I am so glad that my friend Jenny brightens up Mondays with her Make Me Laugh features. Otherwise, Mondays are just Mediocre.
Once again, I’m gonna share a little video for my bit of funny for the day. OK, so maybe it’s not so funny, but it is totally cool.
I think I’m gonna have my girls work up a routine and I’ll get all stage mom on them on the sidewalks downtown while we pass out a hat.

I can’t believe how fast this week has gone by! This past weekend, my S.O. (Significant Other***this guy needs a better name!) whisked me away on a spontaneous last minute getaway. LOVE HIM!!!

My friend Jenny on the Spot always has something funny to say, me….not so much. Trying to come up with something silly on a Monday is no easy thing for me. This weekend though, my girls and I were poking around YouTube looking at our favorite videos. This one always gets a good laugh at my house…..even tho’ we’ve seen it hundreds of times. If you’ve already seen it and you still don’t laugh…you might be a little bit dead inside.

Don’t you love it when in the middle of a bad day, you find a reason to burst into silly, hysterical giggles? I was driving the girls on one of the many trips to Home Depot this weekend and talking on the phone with my sister. I confessed that I had been in a terrible mood for the entire week and the peanut gallery chimed in from the back,
“you have mom!” Then I was like..
“yeah, I have been a total crab pot!”
them: laughter
me: “Thanks girls!”
The Littlest One: “Mom’s a crabbutt” more hysterical laughter.
Me: ”wait! I’m a what???”
Them: “a CRAB BUTT” literally FOCSL…….falling out of carseat laughing
Me: “I did not say that. I said crab POT”
Them “We heard crab BUTT” Tears now streaming down faces.
They are laughing so hard I can’t help but join them.
What a great moment of silly joy in an otherwise gray, rut of a day. What tickles your funny bone?
